Dubai is known worldwide for having a few of the most amazing structures. Burj Khalifa skyscraper is just amazing at 823 meters high and 163 floors. At the very top, you can admire the Arabic metropolis and all visitors are left in awe.
The builders planed from the beginning the utility and numbers of floors the building will have and kept all the details strict up until the finishing of the project. It almost looks like an independent city in the middle of Dubai, with its own electrical and thermostatic systems. It’s unbelievable that in the torrid desert the interior temperature will not heat over 18 degrees Celsius thanks to complex state of art underground cooling modules that use seawater.
So what’s inside?
The impressive height building is, understandably, home to a lot of hotels, offices, apartments, and shopping centers. There are 3 separate entries: one for guests of the hotels, one for the office employees, and another one for the apartment residents.
Starting with the first floor up to the 39th floor the Armani hotel is located. The design was projected by the designer himself.
For the lovers of sport and an active lifestyle, there are sports centers and pools situated on the 43rd floor and 76th. From 44th to 72nd floor and 77-108 there are 900 luxury apartments. An Indian billionaire lives on the third floor after purchasing the entire floor plan.
The office buildings are located on the 111- 154th floor. On the 122nd level, the Atmosphere restaurant is located making it the highest restaurant in the world ( it can fit up to 80 people).
The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also a very posh lounge. You can check the menus here.
The observation deck starts with 124 floor at a height of 472 meters from the ground. The building provides the At the Top experience for all the guests that want to see a panoramic view of the Dubai desert.
A panoramic platform, or observation deck, was open to the tourists back in 2008 making it the emblem of the city itself.
