Have you applied for a dream job and then you realized that your employer will have to see unappropriated posts on your Facebook profile? Or you would like to delete the hundreds of romantic pictures that you posted with your ex? From now on, Facebook comes to the rescue, making things easier for you.
Soon enough, the social platform will allow you to rapidly delete, massively even, your old posts that you want to get rid of.
This way, you will not be forced to manually delete each picture or old embarrassing post that you made, let’s say 5 years ago.
This will give you the chance to rapidly clean up your Facebook profile, in order to only reflect your real current life and not the past one.
The function will be very useful, for all individuals looking for a serious job but also for the people diving in a new relationship.
The new feature will be called Manage Activity and you will be able to access it from your mobile app, through Settings &Privacy and then hitting Activity Log. More information you can find here.
The deleted posts will remain for 30 days in a so-called “recycle bin”, from where you can restore them from in this time interval in case you changed your mind. Therefore, you can delete some pictures or tests only temporarily.
For starters, the function will become available for smartphone users first but further on you will be able to access it from the desktop page as well.
